STORE POLICIES

  • PURCHASING FIREARMS ONLINE

    It is illegal to ship firearms to anyone not holding an active Federal Firearms License (FFL). For that reason, firearms purchased online may picked up at our store or shipped to an FFL (gun store) near you.

    So we can verify the FFL you select during checkout before we ship your firearm(s) please have your receiving FFL email a signed copy of their license to ffl@SHTFtactical.com.

  • PAYMENTS

    All major credit cards are accepted. If you wish to make payment via Check or Money order please contact us to complete your purchase and you will receive a 2% cash discount.

  • RETURNS

    If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 3 business days of receiving purchase. Credit Card purchases will be subject to a 10% restocking charge.

    Sales on the following items are final:

    1. Special orders including firearms listed as available online only and not available in store.
    2. All available in store firearm sales are final once they ship. Prior to shipment a restocking fee of 10% will be assessed
    3. Products sold "as is" or "used" or that have been installed or used after receipt.
    4. NFA items.
    5. Illumination devices, electronic sights, triggers, lasers, and optics.
  • ORDER CANCELLATION

    You may cancel your order anytime prior to shipment. Once you receive your tracking number the order cannot be canceled. 

    Credit Card - Orders paid using a credit card may be subject to a 10-15% restocking fee if canceled. 

    Orderes canceled due to no FFL being received and the buyers failure to respond to any attempts at communictaion (abandoned or ignored orders) OR returns due to undeliverability will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee (credit card orders) AND a 10% restocking fee. All we ask is that you at least let us know you received our emails requesting additional information...

  • USED FIREARMS

    Used (Non factory refurbished) firearms may not be returned. All sales are final. Description and photos (if available) will be provided by the seller upon request.

  • GENERAL FIREARM SALES

    All firearms, magazines, receivers and restricted law enforcement items are sold and shipped in accordance with all existing federal, state and local laws and regulations. Many of the firearms, magazines and parts for sale on this website may be restricted or prohibited in your area. Please check your local and state regulations before ordering.

    All new firearms are shipped in the original manufacturer's box, with magazine(s), accessories and applicable warranty. Firearms requiring warranty work must be returned to the factory within 1 year of purchase for repair. Accessories and special order items not normally sold by our store will not be covered under warranty even if these products are part of an integrated firearms package, unless we have guaranteed the entire package in writing. Please contact the original manufacturer for warranty information on all accessories and special order items.

  • SECURE TRANSMISSION

    All information collected during the checkout process is transmitted via industry standard Transport Layer Security (TLS). A Transport Layer Security (TLS) Certificate (or SSL Certificate) creates an encrypted link between a Web site and a visitor's Web browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the Web site and the browser remains private and secure.

  • ORDER FULFILLMENT

    All orders are shipped promptly from a distributor warehouse or in-store inventory within 2 - 5 business days using UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Tracking numbers are available for items shipped via UPS and FedEx.

    - Firearms with the "Available In Store" badge typically ship the same day the FFL is received as long as it is received by 2PM EST.
    - Firearms without the available in store badge but having the "Available Online" badge will ship from our warehouses and will be shipped within 1-3 business days. Warehouse inventory is updated hourly.
  • INSURANCE

    All items, when shipped, will include the default insurance that the carrier provides in the shipping price. Many times this will not fully cover the item should it be lost by the carrier in transit. The buyer can purchase additional insurance by contacting us via email or the contact us form immediatly after placing your order. The cost of the insurance will be your responsibility and can be added to your order. If your item is lost by the carrier, excluding errors in addressing on our part, and additional insurance was not purchased, any loss incurred will be the responsibility of the buyer. 

  • ONLINE PRICE & DESCRIPTION ERRORS

    Our online inventory changes every day. Occasionally an item may appear on the site by mistake or the item's description may contain a typographical error. We do not guarantee that titles, descriptions, pictures or prices on our site are error-free. We reserve the right to refuse any order including but not limited to orders for items with errors in the description or price. In the event that we cancel an order we will not charge the customer's credit card or we will refund the money without any cancellation fees.

    All items are NEW and come with everything the manufacturer ships with the item. On rare occasions a distributor may have errors in the description to which we cannot be responsible for. If you have any doubts as to what comes with an item please refer to the manufacturer's product page for specific details. We will guarantee that any item you purchase meets the requirements listed there.

  • AMMUNITION PURCHASES

    You must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition. All ammunition will be shipped ground with adult signature required. Always make sure to use the correct ammunition for your specific firearms. Check your local laws for any other regulations.

  • LAY-a-WAY (currently closed to new law-a-ways)

    We will set up a lay-a-way plan if requested.

    1. The plan must be set up using a credit card with recurring payments
    2. A non-refundable down payment is required. The down payment will be the greater of $50 or 10% of the item total including shipping
    3. A 3-5% administrative fee will be added to the total due
    4. If a payment is declined, it must be resolved within 5 business days or the law-a-way will be canceled.
    5. If the law-a-way is canceled, you will be refunded all payments made except the deposit and administrative fee
